Quartet was created in 2000 on the initiative of members of the Czech Philharmonic. It performs regularly in the CP chamber cycles, at festivals and    in the concert series of the Circle of Friends of Music throughout the Czech Republic and abroad.                                                                                                          The quartet performs in the composition of :                                                          Leoš Čepický 1st violin, Viktor Mazáček 2nd violin,  Jiří Posledni viola and Jakub Dvořák cello.                                                                                                                    The excellent individual dispositions of all the players and their experience in chamber playing are a great contribution to the first-class interpretation of the pieces, and it is highly appreciated by professional critics.
 

Viktor Mazáček is a sought after violinist, who has been a member of the 1st violin group of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra since 1994 and has been intensively working with the Czech Philharmonic Quartet since 2015.                 He is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory with Professor Jaroslav Štětina and the Academy of Performing Arts with Professor Ivan Štraus.                                  He is a chamber player and collaborates with many renowned ensembles such as Konvergence, Camerata Bohemica and Capella Regia Praha. He is the concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra of the Dvořák Region.                                                                                                           

Jiří  Poslední is a sought after violinist, who is a member of the viola group of the Czech Philharmonic since 1997 and has been working with the Czech Philharmonic Quartet since 2000.                                                                                He is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory with Professor  J. Zika and chamber music with Josef Vlach and Viktor Moučka, both from the legendary Vlach Quartet. He is a sought after chamber player and  performed in the ensembles Šroubkovo Quartet, Joseph Trio, Prague Baroque Soloists and Capella Regia Praha.                                                                                                                               He regularly teaches at Ameropa international chamber music courses in Prague.                                                                                                                            

Jakub Dvořák is a cellist, who is a member of the cello group of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra since 1997 and  has been working with the Czech Philharmonic Quartet since 2000.                                                                                    He received his musical education in Prague as a private pupil of professor Mirko Škampy. After completing his studies at the gymnasium, he was accepted to the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, where he graduated in the class of professor  Rudolf Lojda in 1990.                                                                                  Since his student years, he has collaborated with a number of chamber orchestras and ensembles (Concertino Notturno Praha, Joseph trio, Musica Gaudeans, Virtuosi di basso, Capella Regia Praha).                                                   

Roxana Hädler is a harpist of the Prague State Opera and the Hradec Králové Philharmonic  and a daughter of the singer Zuzana Stirská.                                       She performs not only with leading Czech orchestras, but also as a soloist on Czech and foreign stages.  She won several international competitions and recently also auditioned for the Academy of the Czech Philharmonic.                  She continues to improve her playing skills at many international harp courses and had the opportunity to work with world-class harpists such as Luisa Prandina, Elizabeth Volpé Bligh, Monika Stadler and many others.                        In addition to orchestral playing, Roxana also plays solo. Anneleen Lenaerts, harpist of the Vienna Philharmonic, performed as the "prelude" at the opening concert of the Prague Harp Festival. She was also invited to perform at the Smetanova Litomyšl Festival together with the Wihan Quartet and performed as a soloist accompanied by the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic, the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, the Ukrainian-Czech Sinfonietta, the Academic Chamber Soloists and others.

Lukáš Dittrich is one of  the leading Czech clarinetists.                                           He is the holder of a number of awards - in addition to the title of laureate from national and international competitions, including the Leoš Janáček International Competition or the representation of the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Young Musicians 2010, he also became a scholarship holder of the Leoš Janáček Foundation and the Czech Music Fund Foundation.
He began his musical studies with his father, then graduated from the Brno Conservatory and then the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts. From 2015 to 2023, he worked as solo clarinetist of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra. He has held this position in the Czech Philharmonic since 2023.

Lucie is a Czech flutist working in Switzerland since 1994.                                    She is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory with Professor J. Riedlbauch, the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with the legendary flutist F. Čech, the Hochschule für Musik in Hamburg and the Cantorum Basiliensis School.         She received further artistic impulses at the master classes of P.L. Graf and A. Adorján. She is the laureate of several prizes from national and international competitions and a semi-finalist of the Prague Spring in 1991. She was the solo flutist of the International the Prague Youth Philharmonic and the FOK Musica Bohemica ensemble.                                                                                                      As a soloist, she performed with leading chamber orchestras  (Petersburg Soloists, Talich Chamber Orchestra ). She performed at international festivals in Salzburg, Prague, Salisbury, Český Krumlov, Dresden, Paris, Weimar, Luxembourg and Freiburg.                                                                                          She was a member of the symphony orchestra Basel sinfonietta  of the Renaissance flute sextet I Fiffari di Basilea, flutist of the wind quintet I maghi, founding member of the "frauenkomponiert" association and solo flutist of its symphony orchestra, whose task is to present the musical works of female composers. She collaborates with pianist T. Víšek.
She is a founding member of the Amalia Piano Trio and the Amalia Ensemble. Lucie Brotbek Prochásková is a highly valued and sought-after chamber player for her extraordinary musicality and refined, distinctive way of playing.

Martin Petrák has a wide spectrum of experience in the interpretation of historical and modern music. He started playing solo and chamber music at the age of nine under the guidance of professor J. Řezáč ( Czech Noneto ) at the Prague Conservatory.                                                                                              During his studies, he took part in the music courses of Szandor Végh under the direction of bassoonist Sergio Azzolini and oboist Maurice Bourgu. At the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, he studied in the class of professor              F. Herman ( Ars rediviva, Czech Philharmonic ) and J. Seidl ( Collegium Musicum Pragenses, Czech Philharmonic ), where he began to devote himself to learned interpretation under the guidance of the excellent musician - organist Lukáš Vendl ( Harmonia delectabilis ).                                                                                    Since 2005, he has been a member of the Czech Philharmonic.                              In 2006, he founded an instrumental-vocal project focused on baroque music with singer Marko Šulec ( Schola Gregoriana Pragenses ). The ensemble recorded several recordings dedicated to the music of A. Vivaldi, G. F. Handel, W. A. ​​Mozart, F. I. A. Tůma and others.                                                                         In 2008, he founded the instrumental group VENTI DIVERSI ensemble.               In 2017, he founded the chamber orchestra Haydn Ensemble, which is focused on the music of classicism.                                                                                      Martin Petrák is a member of several chamber ensembles: Trio DuBois, PhilHarmonia Octet, Juventus Quintet and others.                                                 Since 2011, he also has been an assistant professor at the University of Ostrava - Faculty of Arts.

Jan Thuri was born in Prague, he is an oboist and a solo English horn player of the orchestra of the State Opera in Prague. Jan is also an oboe and chamber music teacher at the Prague State Conservatory. He is a sought after solo and chamber player.                                                                                                          After graduating from the Prague Conservatory at his father F. X. Thuri ( 1996 ), he completed his studies in Utrecht in the Netherlands in the class of E. Rombout and at the University of Ostrava in the class of Dušan Foltýn.            During his studies, he won numerous awards in foreign competitions for example in  France, Great Britain and Japan.                                                                  Since 2015, he has been the official corporate player of Marigaux - Paris.

HAMU Percussion Ensemble is a platform for spontaneously arising projects.                Recently they played  for example "Concert in the Garden", a full-length concert at the Drum Festival in Vysoké Mýto and as well as  they  cooperate with renowned festivals  as is Strings of Autumn, where they realized a full-length concert as part of the American Music Week . The pandemic did not allow the completion of the Phoenix project with the National Theater Ballet.                                                                  The Percussion Department collaborates with the Association of Musical Artists and Scholars in the realization of premieres by contemporary composers.  This is not a school ensemble with compulsory attendance, but enthusiastic musicians who can "infect" children during an educational concert, guests of social events and demanding concert audiences with their enthusiasm.

Even at his very young age, Vít Rafael Matyska ( Gene Koshinski - Swerve )  already has a lot of practical experience with solo, chamber and orchestral playing, and yet he is a "student as he should be" - he eagerly seeks new knowledge and intensively improves his playing technique.

Blanka Šindelářová ( Trevino - Baila ) had studied for five years at HAMU and found her direction during these studies. She brings a feminine emotion to the set, enhanced by her graceful singing.

Štěpán Hon ( Reich Quartet ) brings to the ensemble above all his open heart, which embraces the whole world and which he also gives to his performance. This is possible by his brilliant technique and new perspectives on the interpretation of music for the vibraphone, which he got to know during his studies at jazz schools in Holland and Poland.

Josef Kurfiřt was born in Liberec into a musical family. In 2016, he graduated from the Prague Conservatory in conducting and classical singing.                          As a conductor, he performed with the Hradec Králové Philharmonic, the Bohuslav Martinů Zlín Philharmonic, the Film Philharmonic, the Talich Chamber Philharmonic, the Czech Chamber Philharmonic, the Moravian-Silesian Sinfonietta, the Gustav Mahler Philharmonic, the Praga Camerata Orchestra or the Moravian Theater Orchestra Olomouc and others.                                        Since 2016, he has been collaborating with the J.K. Tyla in Pilsen, where he staged productions of the operas Medea ( L. Cherubini ), Bride of Messina           ( Z. Fibich ), Iris ( P. Mascagni ), Charming Miss ( R. Benatzky ), the ballets Corsair ( A. Adam ) and Don Quixote ( L . Minkus  ).At the Moravian-Silesian National Theater in Ostrava, he conducted performances of The Broken Jug / Emperor of Atlantis ( V. Ullman ) or Smetana's operas Dalibor, Tajemství and Devil's Wall.

Soprano Tereza Kurfiřtová has been singing since the age of seven. 
She attended the Pardubice Conservatory and the Prague Academy of Performing Arts with a number of interpretation courses led by prominent interpreters ( Antonio Carangelo, Jiří Kotouč, Kateřina Kněžíková, Markéta Cukrová, Francesco Aliberti ). She studied at the Giuseppe Conservatory as part of the Erasmus program Verdi in Milan and privately with Anatoli Goussev.       Tereza is the laureate of several international competitions, including the prestigious International Singing Competition Antonín Dvořák in Karlovy Vary, where she won first place in the categories Junior and Song.
She performed in the Liberec and Pilsen theaters, often sings recitals with piano accompaniment and was part of the Circle of friends and music for several years in a row . In addition to singing, she also accompanied a children's choir in the past, she taught voice and piano and trained talent candidates high school and college exams.
Since 2021, she has been a permanent member of the Prague Philharmonic Choir, with whom she already performed on the most prestigious world stages and festivals. For example festivals in Bregenz, Tel Aviv, New York, Paris, Sankt Gallen.

Zuzana Koś Kopřivová studied opera singing at the Prague Conservatory in the class of Yvona Škvárová Votavová, with whom she continues her education at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Already during her studies at the conservatory, she began to perform as a solo guest at the J.K. Tyl Theater in Plzeň, where she has performed more than ten roles in productions of various genres and styles: from operettas, to masterpieces of the opera repertoire, to modern works by contemporary opera authors. Currently, she can be seen here as Christ in the opera Věc Makropulos ( Leoš Janáček) , Paquette in the operetta Candide ( Leonard Bernstein ), Pousette in the opera Manon ( Jules Massenet ) and Servilia in Mozart's opera La clemenza di Tito.                                                      In 2018, she made her debut on the boards of the National Theater in Prague, where she appeared as Esmeralda in The Bartered Bride ( Bedřich Smetana ), Papagena in The Magic Flute ( W. A. ​​Mozart ), Zerlina in a special presentation of the opera Don Giovanni ( W. A. ​​Mozart ) in the director's legendary production V. Kašlík and scenographer J. Svoboda and Jano in the opera Její pastorkyňe        ( Leoš Janáček ).                                                                                                                    In the 2020/2021 season, she made her debut at the South Bohemian Theater in České Budějovice as Fiordiligi and Despina in the opera Cosi fan tutte ( W. A. ​​Mozart ) in the Czech translation by J. Nohavica. Now she performs here in the main role in the operetta Slečna vdova ( J. Móry ), as Mamení in the world premiere of the opera Comenius! composer J. Jirásek and is currently studying the role of Berta in the opera Il barbiere di Siviglia ( G. Rossini).                   Zuzana Kos' Kopřivová performs in concerts with compositions from many musical periods and genres - from early Gothic music to works by 21st century authors, from songs to operas to operettas and musicals.                                    Zuzana is the holder of many awards from domestic singing competitions and she also had improved her singing technique in foreign courses with important world opera stars like Helen Donath, Brigitte Fassbaender, Angelika Kirschlager, Marjana Lipovšek, Alfred Brugstaller and others.

She studied singing at the České Budějovice Conservatory and already during her studies gained her first experience on the stage of the South Bohemian Theater. Since 2007, she has been collaborating with the Karlín Musical Theater in the performances Čardášová princess, Polish blood, Murder behind the curtain, Aida, Mamzelle Nitouche.                                                                            Since 2011, she has performed at the Studio DVA Theater in the performances Christmas Carol, Girl, Christmas Story, Evita and Funny Girl.                               She collaborates in concerts with leading Czech orchestras and creators and regularly premieres compositions by, for example, composer Kryštof Marek, recipient of the Czech Lion award. In addition to solo performances, she also sings in ensembles and choirs.                                                                                  Since 2008, she has been working in foreign stage productions ( in operettas by J. Strauss, operas by W. A. ​​Mozart, G. Verdi and in the musical Phantom of the Opera ).                                                                                                                                In 2010, she collaborated with Bobby McFerrin as part of his concerts in the Czech Republic and regularly records film music for Czech (recently the film Jan Žižka, Služka ) and foreign productions ( such as Disney ).                                       In addition to singing, she also works as a music therapist and organizes music therapy workshops.

Jakub Koś has been singing since early childhood, when he sang in a boys' choir. He then developed his voice at the Prague Conservatory, where he studied in the class of Valentin Prolat. He continued his studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of Professor Ivan Kusnjer.                                Since 2013, he has regularly performed in the chorus of the National Theater and the Prague State Opera. He graduated from the Academy of Choral Singing at the Prague Philharmonic Choir, with which he has been cooperating since 2014 and of which he has been a permanent member since 2019.                          Jakub is also a member of the Martinů Voices ensemble under the direction of Lukáš Vasilek. He also cooperates with ensembles dealing with early music, such as Musica Florea, Victoria Ensemble and, most recently, Collegium 1704. Jakub regularly performs concerts here and abroad.
